BET Confirms Frankie & Neffe TV Show!
Now that BET has secured a new unscripted series about singer Monica for the fall (”Monica: Still Standing”), it appears the network doesn’t have enough room for two reality shows surrounding R&B starlets.
With “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” not appearing on the fall schedule, BET announced Wednesday that it will present a spinoff series starring Cole’s popular mother Frankie and sister Neffe.

Premiering Aug. 25 at 10 p.m., “Frankie and Neffe” will follow the pair as they “strive to gain financial independence, while taking on the responsibilities of implementing and maintaining positive lifestyle changes, raising families, and handling the drama and men in their lives,” according to BET.
The eight episode series is executive produced by James DuBose of DuBose Entertainment for BET.

I am not watching this… Dayum shame that they put stuff like this on television now.. It’s displaying to the world that it is cool to to be ignorant and make us once again look as though this is what a normal blk family is like.. They are saying it is okay to be ignorant and stuck as long as you put it on national television to make you look even worse off as long as we are profiting off of it…Dayum shame BET has once again manage to pull off some B.S. just like the awards show the closing act was Drake w/ Lil Wayne with some young as kids dance to they wish they could F*** every girl in the word….Sad ass shame
This show is gonna be one big hot-ass mess. I can see that s**t now. Man it’s cool to be hood and keep it real but it’s funny how extra hood people get when they think the camera is on. BET been sellin’ out ever since Robert Johnson sold it. It’s no longer entertainment for black people BY black people. What? Y’all thought the program directors were black? Y’all better wake up!!
Damn shame. Keyshia was the only one that made the show normal and gave it purpose. Now it will only be two women cutting up and acting a fool on TV.
Modern day coonery. That show isn’t gonna be worth watching at all. It’s gonna be the same ole shyt just like it was on Keryshia’s reality show.
Why,I rather watch a cartoon than these 2 ghetto asses acting a fool on t.v..they must be on for laughter and entertainment b/c you sure can’t learn nothing from them. BET you can do better..I guess i’ll be watching Food network, or the news, something that makes more sense!
