BET Welcomes ‘The Wendy Williams Show’
BET has picked up cable rights to “The Wendy Williams Show,” a forthcoming daily talk program featuring the New York-based disc jockey hosting celebrities, spreading gossip and discussing topical issues, reports Variety.
The cable channel has yet to announce a timeslot for the show, which will run day and date with the syndication telecasts set to air in the daytime and early afternoon beginning July 13.

Following a successful four-market, six-week preview last summer on the Fox Television Stations in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Detroit, the one-hour entertainment talk show – distributed by Debmar-Mercury – will premiere simultaneously on TV stations covering more than 95 percent of the United States and BET.
“After two solid quarters of growth at BET, we’re thrilled that ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ will be joining our line-up in July to strengthen the network’s momentum,” said Barbara Zaneri, Executive Vice President Programming Strategy, Scheduling and Acquisitions, who negotiated the deal for BET Networks.

Black Entertainment television is no longer Owned By Black People, So I hear. So Hmmm, The mind of an 80’s Baby who really could give a f**k or less about the rich muthaf**ka’s who exchange millions of dollars to make our community worse, Would just like to know….Why didn’t they name it White Entertainment Television, Cause really they’re tryna “Wet” up Black Enetertainment. Shame on em! And Good Luck Schmucks! Some of us ain’t Havin it!
Daaaamn! What da f**k did Wendy Do. I mean I literally try not to expose my ears to negative energy so that’s 1 reason I don’t know. But; she has to eat also. And the F**KIN INDUSTRY HEADS don’t promote or stand behind any positive material these days so I don’t really f**kin Blame HER, It.. Whatever the hell she/him is!
I am morally opposed to this woman. She’s an affront to INTELLIGENT, hard working, respectable black women everywhere..She never has anything meaningful, engaging, enlightening, or even entertaining to say. Thanks so much BET for providing us with more trash and filth to fill our children’s minds with. I still find it interesting that the founder of BET has children that DON’T watch anything on that station.
Maybe this one instance wherein “follow the leader” is an excellent course of action? Call your cable provider, and ask them to REMOVE BET from your channel lineup/offering. They used to tell you to contact the cable provider to request it, now it’s time to “reverse the curse”..Wendy is the LAST straw! I was SOO glad when they replaced her radio show with Michael Baisden in my local area…
Cool, put her on BET, combine the absolute worst we have to offer in one place. Makes it easier to avoid.
