“Precious” Star Shows Off Comedy Chops On Leno

Watch your back Mo’Nique. Your “Precious” co-star Gabourey Sidibe is kind of funny.

During her sit down with Jay Leno the Oscar-nominated neophyte thespian had the crowd in the palm of her hands as she told stories of her boyfriend teaching her how to drive, being attacked by “stoned” Koalas in Australia and how she’s scared of Mike Tyson (who isn’t?) But somebody should warn her that wanting to drive a Prius isn’t such a good idea right now. (props to Mr.WorldPremier)

    wow!!I never saw the movie but off of the clip she deserves whatever they give her. She is obviously very intelligent and I like that she is confident in who she is.

    I’m willing to bet, if she were to give an equally commanding performance in a movie that shows the black family unit, strong and functional, she won’t even be remotely considered for an Oscar!

    I am w/ mcanion1 on the face that her confidence is radient. Not only is she cute in the face but smart in the mind and “precious” in the heart! I would love to meet her! Best wishes and I hope you win!!! Even if you don’t YOU ARE A WINNER because how many can pull off what you did and still teach a lesson! Thank you and in loving memory of my friend who went through just about the same except she was killed at the age of only 9, I miss her. I know that your acting in this story will be a reason for children going through this to listen and hopefully parents will stand by their child!!!

    I watched Jay Leno just because she was on. She is the bomb. She is always true to herself and I luv her for that. Watch her on the Ellen show she was gettin down… lol I wish her the best because she is very talented.

    Kro_momo8198 I agree with u. Those types of loses are always the worst to deal with. Hopefully people will open their eyes and pay more attention to their children. Always listen to a child when it comes to any type of abuse!
