Tyra Banks Following Oprah And Ending Talk Show

Following Oprah Winfrey and Bonnie Hunt’s announcements that they’re stepping away, Tyra Banks is the latest to leave the talkshow game.

VIDEO: 50 Cent Shows Tyra His Bank

Banks told People.com that this would be the last season of the Warner Bros.-produced “The Tyra Show,” with the talker ending its run in the spring. The host said she wants to focus on her production shingle, Bankable Studios, and see what future bigscreen projects can promote positive images of women.

Banks will continue with the CW’s “America’s Next Top Model” and ABC’s “True Beauty.”

    Oprah was on for how long, 25 years? how long was tyra’s show running? tyra’s done a lot, but don’t put the two in the same category in this plane. there are some out there that will.

    I dnt think she’s goin 2 end her show. Personally, I think she has sum nice discussions on her show. Especially 4 sum of the young girls. I enjoyed da 1 where she discussd tha bein a virgin shuld not b a problem & tha young girls shuld not feel lik dey shuld jus get it ova wit. And even if she did cancel it I dnt think she wuld do it bcuz of wat Oprah’s doin.
