I think it was sincere and i think that he realizes that alot of people are tired of his outbursts and acting like this. He might have realized that this could really hurt him in the end who knows. I’m sure Jay Leno knew the topic of his mom was a touchy issue and i am sure someone probably talked to him ahead of time to get the go to speak about his mom and ask the question. And no it doesn’t reflect that Leno thinks he wasn’t raised right. I mean he was very close to his mother and i’m sure she probably wouldn’t of found it acceptable either.

Kanye, was very sincere he carries alot of hurt and pain. I believe God is working on him and he will be alright. Taking a little time off from the world is a good thing. If you love yourself you can live by yourself. Im a mother and Pray that my children and grandchilren remember my words when Im gone. If there is ever anything I can do you Kanye Im here for you. I must say, the “apology” seemed genuine, and I base that on his body language and humble tone of voice. The fact he made little direct eye contact could have been a show of contrition, fueled by an overwhelming sense of embarrassment. I commend him(as I’m NOT one of his biggest fans, by FAR!)for exhibiting some fortitude by making this public apology on a venue that would be seen by many, and hope he keeps his word about his wanting to make an “in-person” apology to Ms.Swift.He is also correct in realizing he needs to take time away from the business and spotlight so that he may address his grief for the loss of his beloved mom, who so obviously meant the world to him. I figured, upon hearing of his latest gaffe, if someone, especially someone close to him, personally or professionally, were to mention or ask how his mom would have felt, his walls would come a-tumblin’ down, and he would get honest.

Mr. West, take the time you need to properly address, and exorcise, your personal demons and profound sense of loss. The business, the stardom, the adoration, adulation,and praise from fans and peers, the success you want so badly…will STILL be there!You’ll probably earn even MORE respect from all, should you return a more kinder, thoughtful, and most importantly, HUMBLE and GRATEFUL, man…for you are FIRST a man, a child of God and a wonderful mother, THEN you are an artist!! My do some of ya folks take up for a grown man like Kanye. He lives in the world of media an high life, so hes bound to be scrutinized for inapropriate actions:;an what he did was exactly that. The man is always bringing some form of attention to himself be it negative or positive. He will always have fans He will always have hater. Im neither, just like his music.

Kanye West’s evasive behavior was inexcusable. It is bad enough that black men have to deal with the preconceived notions that we are complaining, lazy, violent and irresponsible. Kanye West and many other rappers just add fuel to the wrong fire. Black men must condemn Kanye West for his behavior. Apology not accepted. We cannot promote that kind of behavior. The president was right for calling West a jackass. Kanye encroached on Taylor Swift.

As an educated black man who has dealt with the worse kind of discrimination I am angry with Kanye West. Those of us who have jobs and have to work for our living don’t have the luxury of shooting our chops because we have to deal with the haters on a daily basis. We don’t need white people or any other race thinking that we black people are inherently violent.

I feel he is very sincere. What comes from the heart reaches the heart. Kanye is just crazy just like ALL true artists. They all got something crazy about them. In a little while we will see Taylor crazy side. I don’t think he meant any harm. Once, he won an award and gave credit to Outcast. I think he is a stand-up guy. He made a mistake.
