He could have waited until they personally interviewed him to say that bulls**t. theres a right and a wrong time for you to say stuff and that definitely was wrong …even though it was TRUE… his fan base will suffer

I read all this comments and yes Kanye West was wrong but I am thinking somehow this could have been staged or MTV people could have stopped it. I guess we will all know for sure when next year the same things happens. Think about that. This is a awards show with no kind of security. Also the comment about black people being judged by what Kanye West do. That may happen but is that right. I mean that would be like if I compare all white people to Jeffrey Dammer or Brett Favre. That is ignorant and should not be tolerated at all. This pass week at least two black people have had outburst and they are getting heavy hate but when white people do stuff they don’t receive the same level of hate. I think Kanye should be punished and banned for these events but the thing is, he has helped make these events relevant. I also believe this to be staged like that Emenim thing that happened with Bruno. For someone who is drunk and normally cusses, he did not slip up at all and say a cuss word. I am thinking that everyday people are starting to get played into thinking some things are bigger than they are. Bad press and good press is the same in Hollywood. It gets your name out there. You see some people no one knows get shows because maybe a sex tape came out or they were involved in so type of scandal. If this all is true then Kanye was wrong and MTV was wrong for letting him do it because there should have be some security measures especially around him who is known to do stuff.

I DO truly know who Taylor Swift is but regardless of her popularity (especially in the urban music demographics), the popular vote maintained that she DID deserve the award. Kanye’s imaginary aggravation is misdirected. Not only misdirected but heightened by his obvious drunken stupor and carved crop circles in his head. The man reminds me of a black male version of Courtney Love. I, for one do not agree with Kanye that Beyonce had one of the best videos OF ALL TIME. I think that’s a stretch!!! Kanye never said that Beyonce should have won, he said that Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. Regardless of what he said, apparently not enough music fans agreed with him and neither do I.

Beyonce is a great entertainer and talent but was her video really all that creative? We’re talking “video” not song! The video was simple. It was one camera revolving around a one take shot of three girls dancing. And in black and white. Not exactly the pinnacle of creativity. Many of you are simply agreeing with Kanye because it’s Beyonce and how dare this little white girl who didn’t have to gyrate, shake, or bend over for the camera walk away with the trophy. The award Beyonce DID receive is what she should have received! Video of the year, which surpasses Best Female Video!

If drunken Kanye would have relaxed long enough to make it through the rest of the show, he would have felt better about the situation. At the end, Beyonce did get what he thought she deserved and even more. However, being the ignorant – uneducated – ghettofied opportunist that he is, he blindly seized the moment. At least I learned something from all of this; there is apparently no security backstage. You have to go backstage to get ON stage. So maybe next year I’ll sneak backstage and run up and cry and moan about someone winning.

I like and respect Kanye a lot for making good music. I’m so disappointed. I see him as having class and tact. This latest episode disturbs me. It definitely lacked class. When will he learn ? When he no longer has supporters ? Damn! We as black people have to do better.

Sunday, we witness Kanye’s ego overruled his talent. It was so rude, self centered, and sooo disrespectful. It’s not always about Kanye and his opinions. I mean there are certain places where you can give your opinion at certain times. But to take an microphone from a person while giving a speech is completely disrespectful. He dimmed her spotlight like she was worthless. I was shocked and hurt just watching it, can you imagine how she felt on stage and being watched all over the world? But you I heard his apology and I believe that he know that he was wrong. Hey, he’s human just like us and he make mistakes. I believe he learned his lesson. He lost million of fans but still have millions left. I am one of his fans.

Kanye helped her career tho lol…it was rude but real…lol! Congreeman Wilson, interrupted president Obama, by calling him a lie! I did not see 170 comments on here about that. lol! Black folks love to use that groovy little catch phrase. Keeping it real! Exactly what does that mean? Does that mean that, “keeping it real” somehow validates our toughness, does it prove how “gangsta” black people are? Is it our last attempt to try to hold on to the little reality that we think we have in a world where all we have IS our word? Keeping it real huh? So you all think Kanye West was keeping it REAL? We have a habit of picking and choosing what we keep real and what we don’t. So Kanye was just keeping it real you say? Like he’s keeping it real about that bald headed stripper he’s walking around with? Or perhaps he’s keeping it real about his alcoholism or frequent drug use? Maybe Mr. Moral himself wants to keep it real about his statement of calling biracial women, “mutts,” in Essence Magazine, or keeping it real about the Benz that he “rented” from a rental car agency and never returned it while racking up $58,000.00 in late fees?

Maybe, Kanye is keeping it real that he’s originally from Georgia and was raised in Oaklawn Illinois, the suburbs, not Chicago. But Chicago just sounds so much damn marketable doesn’t it? Perhaps he’s keeping it real about the felony charge of striking a photographer at LAX, or keeping it real about the fact that he can’t stay in his big boy seat without sabotaging anyone with a microphone during a speech? Kanye keeps it real that he thinks Ronald Regan created cocaine. Perhaps he should not have dropped out of college.

Perhaps he’s keeping it real that in his song, “Diamonds Are Forever” it’s wrong to have diamond mining by slaves in Sierra Leone yet he wears ice on top of ice. He’s keeping it real that he really did drop out of college due to poor grades, which is ironic considering that his mother was an English Professor at Clark University. I got it!!! Kanye is keeping it real that he blames racism on his inability to win an award. As if being a wealthy rapper/producer is not enough, he also wants to be showered with accolades to prove to the world how great he is. We call that attention needy or narcissist personality disorder. Kanye is really keeping it real! He’s keeping it real that he’s really obsessed with white people, over-emotional, and rant driven.

Kanye has become somewhat of an expert at sabotage and has become quite efficient at interrupting other people’s moments. Now that’s real! So please people, stop trying to convince others on how REAL Kanye is. Now suddenly, Kanye, yet again disrespects a fellow celebrity and now all of us, “black” folks want to talk about how REAL that was and how REAL Kanye is now? We just as much hypocrites than he is.
