Stringer Bell Joins The Cast Of ‘The Office’

Variety reports that actor Idris Elba was recently cast on The Office. He will play a rival to Dunder Mifflin’s tightly wound manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell).

The actor is scheduled to appear in 6 episodes later in the year.

The plan is for NBC to announce the casting of Elba at NBC’s TV Critics Association press tour on Thursday.
