I am glad we have a positive president!

Yes, but he positively and purposely wrong on this one. I think he’s deliberately sidestepping the issue. Yes the country is headed in the right direction, but it’s not there yet. The especially nasty vitriol, meanness and disrespect is not coming from the people who voted for him or particularly from the ones who disagree with his policies, but the ones who just can’t deal with the reality of a black poresident of the USA.

Obama on the other hand just doesn’t want to deal directly with the racism issue. He can’t afford to. I think if he does it will be a great diversion from what he’s trying to do with health care.

Obama’s point is strong, Though too many Black people want him to come out as a black militant… AINT GONNA HAPPEN! He’s supposed to be level headed.

Anyone who thinks Obama should be mean toward white people have lil reguard for the fact that even though he’s president, BLACK PEOPLE ARE STILL OUT NUMBERED DAMN NEAR 100 to 1 in this nation.

I don’t think President Obama is side stepping the issue of race because deep he already knows and I’m sure he figured at the time of his election to the Oval Office, he was going to run into this situation.

I believe he doesn’t want to spend any of his energy on this issue becuase it will take his attention away from more important issues, like healthcare.

And white people out there who can’t accept a BLACK PRESIDENT need to realize one thing, Just because President Obama is in office doesn’t mean he’s going to enact a law enslaving white people! So RELAX! LOL!

Of course he danced around the issue (racism). He does that well. He can’t totally agree with Jimmy Carter for backlash that he’s crying racism. But the effing Democratic Party continues to piss me off by backing away from the obvious racist rants. They left Carter out to dry as if his remarks were without merit. Cowards!

i dont think he ignored any race issue. the fact of it is he is a black man doin gret things and so many people not just white ppl although i do think they are the majority are not use to or comfortable with the fact that the black man is in charge and has the power to make decisions that change there lives.i dont think obama needs to continue to talk about race hes black its not gonna change and every one is not going to like that. there are other more pressing issues that go above color. i think he handled it with the grace and respectfullness he has continued to show throughout his campaign and presidency, he answers questions like a smart ass but very respectfully.

i love obama and i dont even know him personally. sometimes you do not have to know the person because we can feel when someone is genuinelly real. not too many men that have my interest.

Actually, Obama raises quite an issue. Can he prove he was born a black man?

He can’t even prove he was born in america. We’re just supposed to believe he was born black too???
