@odoggz… the female human body has nine/ten months of birth preparation for labor and delivery and some women still encounter issues then. we women produce a cartilage enzyme while pregnant which allows for the pelvic plates to shift during labor opening the birth canal for delivery. a newborn exiting the body is not only painful, but natural. plus, the birth canal is open. a 16oz coke bottle is unnatural to the female body and therefore will more than likely cause extreme pain and discomfort if/when inserted.

I remember the humble beginning of hip hop in NYC way back in the day!! The hip hop genre of music was less money driven back then ,so the artists were more interested in having that credibility as a great artist as opposed to living in a mansion or making millions. Back in the day hip hop was known more as a music type embraced by the inner city youth seeking a voice for what they too were experiencing. Male rappers far outweighed female rappers back then, and women really had to fight hard (I’ll even say twice as hard as men ) to prove that they had what it took to represent the art form. Hip hop has been around since 70′s, but I really fell in love with this music during the 80′s when Dana Dane did Nightmares, Slick Rick Children’s Story, Run D MC my adidas, Sweet T Its my beat, Salt & Pepa My Mic sounds nice , Roxxane Shante,Biz markie, The Real Roxxane, Kurtis Blow, The Sugar Hill Gang, Grandmaster Caz, Melle Mel, Grandmaster Flash, Big Daddy Kane, UTFO,LL Cool J, Kool Moe D, Stetsasonic,! Most youngsters don’t even know who these people are. I remember the grafitti on NYC subway trains and how closely linked it was to the hiphop culture and break dancing (Rock Steady Crew),etc etc. I remember when rappers and aspiring rappers would battle in the street with other rappers verbally just for props. The industry has drastically changed! Back to Ladies of Hip hop! Roxxane Shante was one of if not the youngest females to have a successful career in hip hop with the Juice Crew. Her songs lead to other female rappers such as Real Roxxane responding to her via their own albums. I actually remember when it was about skills and not showing alot of azz. Women wore clothing back then. Salt & Pepa were trend setters as far as style,because they were sexy, dressed fashionable, had everyone rocking the assymetrical hair cuts, and they could rap their azzes off. Latifah always had Afrocentric style and never dressed scantily clad, and she too could rap her azz off. Same thing with MC Lyte! You didn’t have to get naked back then to make good music and have a fan base! As time went on Lil Kim ,Foxy, Trina, etc hit the scene and it was all about how sex sells, and they dressed in very sexy clothing and had sexist lyrics, and materialism in abundance was the it thang. Don’t get me wrong Kim and Foxy can rap, but their sexy image had alot to do with their success to. It’s just a sign of the times.

And…. I can understand YoYo’s comment (who I also loved back in the day and MC Smooth) Luke & The Too Live Crew were really among the only rap groups back in the day to promote that sexually driven style of rap and videos. D^amn near all of the artist do it today (Just try watching BET esp after dark) and you’ll see what I mean. Back then I remember that around time that Luke came out with album with the women in thongs that was when they started placing those “Parental explicit lyric advisory” stickers on albums. As time went on females in hip hop wanted to prove that they could rap and still look feminine and dress sexy! Sex has always sold anyway, and they decided to capitalize off that concept. Female MC’s back in the day didn’t feel that need to dress sexy, because back then times weer different and they probably would not have been really respected or taken seriously! That is why many of them are considered the pioneers!

MC lyte greatest female EMCEE of all time , gained her credibility thru her skills. which made it possible for other fmrale rappers who may have some slight insecurity issues about thier looks go in thinking well its a skilled based industry i td ont matter how i look. then Lil Kim & Foxxy Brown brought the XXX sexiness into the game and they sounded good on the mic . so a combo of eye candy and skills where the dominant figures in hip hop which intimated a lot of females who gotten in the game based on a different appeal. this is why they all love Lauryn because she came out the same time and dominated selling 10 miilion without ever appearing in a G-string. It also explains why their hating on Nicki Minaj becuase she embodies the sex appeal that foxxy & lil kim bring to the table but she got the rhyme skills to fkk with the da bratt or EVE.
