Jamie Foxx To Launch New Sketch Comedy Series On Fox

Jamie Foxx is returning to the television network that helped launch him to superstardom.

Fox TV has ordered 12 episodes of a sketch comedy show, tentatively titled “The Jamie Foxx Project,” that will be a midseason replacement.  Actor/comedian Affion Crockett is already attached to the project as both a cast member and a producer.

    It’s great that he’ll give NEWER comic/actors their start….it might work. it might not, but it better to try and fail than not to try at all……

    Cuz SNL and Mad TV fell off really bad all they do now is show men kissing its not funny…..

    i can’t wait for another comedy sketch. I agree with @pullum. I used to watch MadTv, back when there was Ms. Swan and the rest of the cast, but as soon as they left the show died cause they weren’t as funny. I’m sure Jamie’s show will make us laugh.

    Jamie’s stuff (WANDA)always craks me up…if you want REAL funny, go get the Sanford and Son or Richard Pryor dvds; the s**t we got on now is either not funny or a retread of Stepin Fetchit/Rochester of the 1930s…….
