Beyonce Is Still Fierce & Biggie Is Everlasting On Music Charts

Seems that inauguration mania didn’t keep folks from buying music. If anything all of the pre-ceremony performances may have given some stars a boost:

Beyonce hops two spots to #2 moving another 49, 221 copies of I AM…Sasha Fierce bringing her grand total to 1.6 million units.

The Notorious soundtrack debuts at # 4 with 42, 946 units of recycled and repackaged Biggie goodies.

Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreak falls two spots to #5 selling 39, 529 copies of his mullet-infused soul.

Jamie Foxx and Keyshia Cole round out the top-ten with his Intuition landing at #8 and her Different Me at #9. They moved 31,349 and 31,301 units respectively.

Akon is inching towards Gold status with another 23, 292 copies of Freedom bringing his total to 400, 467 and T.I. is coasting at #17 with another 20, 178 copies of Paper Trail sold.

Rihanna rounds out the top 20 with another 17K sold of her Good Girl Gone Bad. She is double platinum with almost 2.3 million copies in the can.
