De La Soul To Release "Art Official Intelligence III" This Year
De La Soul are planning to release the third installment in their Art Official Intelligence series this year, according to the group’s DJ, Maseo. The first installment was released in 1999.
“We’re definitely gonna come out with Art Official Intelligence III,” Maseo confirmed in an interview with Pedestrian.tv. “The fans have been yearning for that. So we’re gonna put out music and we’re gonna continue to tour. That’s all we do!”

The group’s last proper album, The Grind Date was released in 2004. Since then, they have released a mixtape, The Impossible Mission, and a special iTunes only EP in collaboration with Nike, Are You In.
