With the obvious lack of any people of color at the Oscars last night, all eyes are on black filmmakers to deliver some Oscar quality films. So when we saw the newest trailer for Tyler Perry‘s Madea’s Big Happy Family, we quickly came to the conclusions that it will be a shut out for black folks in 2012 as well.
Perry and his cast, including Bow Wow, Teyana Taylor & Loretta Devine, seem to be in total autotune AutoCoon mode.
If black filmmakers and actors keep making films like this one, it’ll be years before we get another black actor/actress/director on stage at the Oscars again.
