Chris Brown says he was supposed to meet his idol, Michael Jackson, on the day that he died. Brown was supposed to attend a rehearsal for Jackson’s This Is It tour on June 29th, 2009.

“Me and Jamie Foxx were going to see him and (then someone called) and they were like, ‘Hold up. He didn’t show up yet,'” Brown told Nylon Magazine.
“And then we got the call later (saying that Jackson had died) and it was devastating.”
