Here we are, midway through Friday. In New York City, spring seems to have finally settled in and the weather outside is nearly perfect. It’s taking every bit of strength we can muster up not to dip out early so we can soak up some of the sun.

On days like today, to get us psyched up for the impending weekend, it’s not unusual for us to zone out to R. Kelly‘s “Thank God It’s Friday” from his 1996 self-titled album.

We’re not sure how we missed it 15 years ago, but we didn’t even know there was a video for the song until maybe two or three years ago during one of our late-night YouTube marathon sessions.
