Check out the trailer for a new drama/thriller opening in theaters this weekend titled The Ledge, which stars Terrence Howard, Charlie Hunnam, Liv Tyler, and Patrick Wilson.
The film centers on Gavin, a young college professor, who plans to commit suicide by jumping off the ledge of a high-rise building, but whose plans are interrupted by a detective, with his own tragic backstory, sent to talk Gavin down. And as the detective and the professor discuss the circumstances that have brought them to where they both are, we learn that all isn’t exactly as it immediately seems.
Terrence Howard plays the detective sent to talk Gavin off the ledge.
Directed by Matthew Chapman, and to be released by IFC Films, the film was initially released online in a brief sneak preview on May 11th, on VOD on May 25th and the early buzz has been strong enough that it’s now getting a theatrical release starting tomorrow .
