Nearly one month has passed since the headline-making altercation between Chris Brown and Rihanna, and the Barbados-born songstress is said to be slowly “easing back” into her music career.

Her Grammy-winning producer Adonis Shropshire tells Hiphollywood.com that Rihanna, who was allegedly beaten by her famous boyfriend and left stranded on a Beverly Hills street, is beginning to focus on her work again.

You have to remember, she’s a kid still,” he says. “So with anybody who goes through something in the world, you have to bring yourself out of it so I guess her refuge is her music.”

Shropshire, who has worked with Brown, Gwen Stefani, Mariah Carey and Usher, says fans can expect to hear something similar to Rihanna’s current sound.
