Taraji P. Henson is getting it in as an actress, but now that she’s signed a record deal, she’s trying to establish herself as credible singer. On the red carpet at BET’s Black Girls Rock!, Taraji told Billboard about her good news and said, “I believe people want to hear it, so you have to give the people what they want.” She previously sang onscreen in “Hustle & Flow.”
