Bonnie Pointer Arrested For Drugs In L.A.
According to TMZ, Bonnie Pointer –a founding member of the famous Pointer Sisters singing group — was arrested in Los Angeles for possession of a controlled substance.
61-year-old Pointer was busted for felony possession of a controlled substance, booked and held on $10,000 bail. Pointer was released from custody around 4:30 AM.
TMZ obtained footage of the singer leaving a party last week and you can watch that HERE.
Bonnie was part of the singing group The Pointers Sisters along with her siblings, June, Anita and Ruth. They scored several hits in the 70s and 80s including “Neutron Dance” and “I’m So Excited.” (watch Below)
