Janet Jackson is the latest star whose name has been tossed around as a potential judge on the FOX reality series, The X-Factor. Shortly before her untimely death, Whitney Houston had expressed interest in joining the judging table with Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid and was set to met Cowell to discuss the prospective job. Now it seems Janet is yet another big name the show’s producers are trying to catch. In an upcoming interview with Anderson Cooper for his daytime talk show, Anderson, set to air on Monday, Janet keeps coy about the rumors.
When Cooper asked Janet about the judging spot she responded “Oh my God” while laughing and stumbling over her words. After she settled herself, she said, “No I’m not a judge on The X Factor.” Cooper then quipped ”You’re not currently a judge on The X Factor.” To which Janet said, “No, I am not, but that’s all I really think I should say.”
