Iconic actor and Chicago native Dick Anthony Williams passed away on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at the age of 73.

Williams  was a Tony Award-nominated actor who co-founded, along with Woodie King Jr., the famous New Federal Theatre (NFT). His film credits included Five On The Black Hand Side, The Jerk, Tap, Mo’ Better Blues and Edward Scissorhands among others.

But thanks to Ghostface, many hip-hop heads know Williams for his character Pretty Tony from the 1973 blaxploitation film The Mack. (spotted @ShadowAndAct)
