Best known for her breakthrough roles in the film Baby Boy, Hustle and Flow and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Taraji P. Henson is all about saving the animals. Henson joined the famed organization PETA campaign against the use of animal products in clothing and is featured in their “I’d Rather Go Naked” campaign.

“I don’t think a living being should suffer for the sake of fashion, period.End of story,” she says. “You don’t have to kill an animal just because you want to be hot and fly. And I really stand by that.”

Not only is she all about the animals, but she is one smart lady. Taraji attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. But after failing a pre-Calculus class she made a dash to Howard University where she studied acting.

That choice that has definitely paid off for her. You can catch Taraji in the soon to be released film Think Like a Man starring Gabrielle Union and Chris Brown.
