Janet Jackson Officially Turns Down 'X-Factor' Gig

You can scratch off another person’s name from the list of contestants playing “Who Wants To Be An ‘X-Factor’ Judge?” Janet Jackson tells TheInsider.com that while she is “very flattered that X Factor let me know that I was being considered for next season, but it just wouldn’t be possible.” Janet’s reasoning is rooted to her schedule — which includes another run of her Number Ones Up Close and Personal Tour starting this summer. Plus, last year Janet signed a deal with Lionsgate in an effort to help foster her film career. Janet’s camp went on to say: “There have been absolutely no meetings between Janet and anyone with regard to X-Factor.”
