Gabrielle Union is set to star in Single Black Female, BET’s hourlong pilot from Mara Brock Akil and Salim Akil. Penned by the Girlfriends and The Game creator, Single Black Female will follow the life of a popular Atlanta-based talk show host as she tries to balance work, family, and her love life. The series is just another part of the married duo’s production deal with BET.
