Last week, EMI filed suit against Cash Money Records for allegedly failing to pay royalties in a sampling dispute. Birdman was ordered to pay the label over, a rumored, half million dollars! It is reported that Cash Money stopped making payments. After returning to court for the remaining funds, Emi and Cash Money have reached a deal.
