Rihanna sat down with Britain’s Kate Garraway to promote her role in the new film Battleship. The star talked about her initial anxiety entering the world of film and what else makes her scary (in the professional sense anyway). The two also chatted about her drive to succeed, her desire for personal growth, how she learned to slow down, and not wanting babies in five years.
Rih-Rih also got asked about the importance of good friends, namely fellow famous ones ala Katy Perry. And if you listen closely, you hear Rihanna talk about being taunted as a kid “for being biracial.” I’m guessing those silly kids back then thought she was mixed with Black and Negro, but that’s neither here or there.
