Michael Jackson’s Estate Settles Lawsuit With “Thriller” Video Model
Michael Jackson’s estate is still putting out fires left burning when Michael passed away. They settled a lawsuit with Ola Ray who played Michael’s love interest in the iconic “Thriller” video.

Former Playboy Playmate Ola Ray sued the King of Pop and his production company in May of 2009 alleging she hadn’t been paid her share of royalties from the “Thriller” video revenue. Ray sued for breach of contract asserting she was owed a hefty piece of change from the 1983 mini-movie. The amount the two parties wasn’t disclosed, but it’s sure to be a sizable amount.
“Thriller” video director John Landis filed a similar suit against Jackson’s estate and is in the process of ironing out the details of their settlement.
Will there ever be a day when Michael Jackson’s estate won’t have to be in court embroiled in a lawsuit? People keep coming for Michael Jackson’s money from all angles. Can’t they all just get along?
