The Obamas have a long history of publicly stanning for Beyoncé, and thankfully, it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Speaking with People magazine, Michelle Obama says that if there’s one person she could be, it’d be Beyoncé.
In an interview with People that hits newsstands Friday, the first lady was asked, “If you could be someone else, who would you be?”
“Gosh. If I had some gift, I’d be Beyoncé,” Obama replied. “I’d be some great singer.”
On that note, the first lady told the mag about her husband’s singing, explaining that he serenades her “all the time.”
“Sometimes I can’t get him to stop singing,” she said of the president. “He loves it in the shower in the morning, sings to the kids. But it’s not a song. He’ll sing one line of something romantic or cute.”
