Miami Heat Beat Celtics In Game 2 Despite Rondo's 44 Points
Miami Heat Take Game 2 Despite Rondo’s 44 Points
Rajon Rondo is not human. He’s a basketball android. The Celtics guard was allover the court in game two of the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals, but ultimately it would not be enough. The Miami Heat took a two game lead in their series after notching a 115 to 111 overtime win at home.

Rondo’s stat line was near arcade levels with 44 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists, and 3 steals (an NBA playoff first). He also played all 55 minutes of the game.
“That was one of they greatest performances by a guard I’ve ever seen,” Hall Of Famer Magic Johnson said after the game. However, the praise will be little consolation. LeBron James and Dwyane Wade combined for 55 points and Mario Chalmers stepped up with 22 for the Heat to take the win.
After a day of rest the teams go to Boston for game three on Friday.
Watch this nasty block from LeBron James on Paul Pierce that lead to an easy bucket by Wade.
