Busta Rhymes and Charlamagne Tha God were at the center of a confrontation in L.A. this past weekend, but details of what happened were sketchy until now.
Charlamagne and his on-air co-hosts were in L.A. shooting a TV show called “The Hustle” and were celebrating at Nobu with Melanie Fiona. During the night Busta Rhymes came into the club and approached Charlamagne about an interview Wendy Williams did with his baby mother in 2004. However, Charlamagne was not working for Wendy Williams at the time.

Charlamagne insists that while words were exchanged, no physical moves were made by either man. No one was touched. Busta Rhymes corroborated that version of the story during an interview with Malikha Mallette.
“We had a discussion. I’m not putting my hand on nobody out here,” Busta said. “My kids need that bread. We had a conversation. I got assault charges in the past, I don’t like the civil suits…it costs too much.”
