Will Smith To Make Directorial Debut With ‘The Redemption Of Cain’
We all knew the day would come when Will Smith would step behind the camera and begin directing features. Will Smith is considering the biblical tale of Cain and Abel.
According to Deadline.com, the film is in development at Sony Entertainment. Smith’s company Overbrook Entertainment is producing the film about the biblical brothers. The film is not going to be the next movie Smith works on. The Redemption of Cain has been on Will Smith’s back burner for some time. At first, it was just supposed to be an acting vehicle for Smith. However, the film is being developed for Will to break himself into the director’s chair.
