Drake On New Aaliyah Album: “Its Not About Me… It’s Really About Her”
It is very clear that Drake adores the late R&B singer Aaliyah, but is the Toronto lyricist capable of creating a collection of music that Aaliyah fans and family will equally love?
Ever since Drizzy revealed that he and his personal producer 40 are working on a new Aaliyah album, critics have expressed concern about the project.

“People should be really excited” he says. MuchMusic caught up with the “Take Care” rapper in Canada after his OVO concert. “40 is doing some incredible music right now,” he continued.
The first single, “Enough Said,” has already proven naysayers wrong. It features actual Aaliyah vocals and the beat sounds like something she would have definately used in her musical lifetime.
The key to this being a successful album, is for Drake to work closely with the people who took Aaliyah’s career from “Back, Back, Forth & Forth” to “One In A Million.” Timbaland and Missy Ellliott must be on this project!
