Stephon Marbury‘s dream job as point guard of the New York Knicks ended in disgrace as part of a sexual harrassment allegation against his former coach Isiah Thomas, yet it seems like the man who called himself ‘Starbury’ was getting served more than just meals from his personal chef at home.
The lurid details of Marbury’s romps with the hired help were not supposed to see the light of day. Marbury paid upwards of $600,000 to Thurayyah Mitchell, who he hired and fired in 2006, in exchange for her silence and reportedly continued to pay her through 2010. Marbury, a married father of three children, was already in hot water at the time admitting to sleeping with a Knicks employee in his car during the Isiah Thomas mess. Mitchell claims she slept with Marbury five times and thought she had to in order to keep her job.
Marbury never won anything in the NBA and he is still losing. To make matters worse, his wife Latasha is currently in negotiations to join the cast of ‘Basketball Wives’. No doubt she will have many stories to tell. Lovely.
