Jamie Foxx Set To Join “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”
Although I am still not entirely sure why they’re retelling the story of Spider-Man as if we didn’t see learn it via three other movies a few years ago, Sony is moving forward with plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Hey, your cousins saw the new-new Spider-Man movie and there is money to be made.
I have to say, though, even I’m curious to see this sequel considering Jamie Foxx has reportedly been tapped to play the villain. Variety reports that Foxx is to play the role of Electro, the alter ego of Spider-Man enemy Max Dillon. Electro gains the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning. Lucky.
Foxx himself tweeted over the weekend, “Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night. Costume fits well.”
I’m sure the check fits better.
However, when are we getting another “Blame It?”
