Even though the 2012 Soul Train Awards were filmed last month in Vegas, anticipation for the star-studded event was still high tonight as the ceremony began to be aired on BET. It was a night of black excellence as Hollywood’s finest convened in the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for an evening of live performances and soulful tribute Soul Train creator Don Cornelius.
