Jovan Belcher Texted About Shooting Girlfriend Months Before He Killed Her
Jovan Belcher texted another woman a few months ago saying that he “would shoot” girlfriend Kassandra Perkins “if she didn’t leave him alone.”
This was all revealed in the case file which was obtained by the the Kansas City Star He also said she “knew exactly how to press his buttons and make him angry” and “threatened to take all his money and his child if they split up.”
He also missed a team meeting a few weeks before the murder-suicide and blamed it on Perkins, who reportedly hadn’t come home the night before which forced him to watch their baby while she was gone. Romeo Crennel, the Chiefs head coach, said “he thought the couple had ‘trust issues’ and Perkins expected ‘a better life’ with an NFL player.”
The actual case file has over 60 pages of interviews and evidence. All this just proves how sad the whole situation really is.
