It looks like Jay-Z is the only one to come out selling Roc-A-Fella Records on a positive note. Co-founder of the label, Kareem “Biggs” Burke just caught five years for participating in a drug ring.

Burke recently plead guilty to drug charges after being caught in a drug operation that spanned several states. Since pleading guilty, Burke was sentenced to five years behind bars for conspiracy to distribute marijuana. When he was busted, Kareem Burke was in possession of more than 100 kilos of the drug.  Besides, giving the government five years of his life, Burke must also hand over his car, his home, and pay a hefty $600,000 fee.

Considering Burke plead guilty to the charges, it’s possible the judge will allow him to be paroled after a year or two. Wait. What am I talking about? The drug laws in New York are stricter than an uptight parent with a loose child. we wonder if Jay-Z will put some money his Burke’s books when he gets to prison.
