NBA star Gilbert Arenas is feeling good when it comes to him and his battle with VH1 show ‘Basketball Wives.’

If you remember, Arenas brought a lawsuit against Shed Media, the company who produces the hit reality, because his then ex-fiance, Laura Govan, was on the show and he didn’t want her to exploit his name in any negative manner. In the initial onslaught of Arenas’ suit was he wanted the show ripped off the air. When the judge shot that notion down, Gilbert Arenas sued for a large sum of money.

Gilbert Arenas has dropped the lawsuit now that he and his fiance, Basketball Wives: LA star Laura Govan are back together. However, the stipulation is he can bring the lawsuit back whenever he sees fit. VH1 adamantly begged for the court to not allow this stipulation, but their pleas went in vain. The courts took Arenas’ side so that if his marriage doesn’t work out with Govan, and she uses his name on the show, he can sue again.

It must be a wonderful thing when you can sue your soon-to-be wife’s job whenever you feel the need.
