“Jett Jackson” Star Lee Thompson Young Dead At 29
Actor Lee Thompson Young — who played the main character on Disney’s “The Famous Jett Jackson” –was found dead in his Los Angeles home.
Sources tell TMZ that Young’s landlord discovered his body after co-workers on his current show, “Rizzoli and Isles” said he did not show up for work. The 29-year-old was found with a gunshot wound that appeared to be self-inflicted.
Lee Thompson Young started out on the popular Disney show “The Famous Jett Jackson” but went on to appear in several films including “Friday Night Lights,” “Akeelah and the Bee,” and “Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story.”
He most recently played Detective Barry Frost on TNT’s “Rizzoli and Isles.”
