Rapper Nelly is out here really trying to win. The St. Lunatic dropped a a remix to 2 Chainz‘s hit “Feds Watching.” Nelly proves he’s right at home rhyming over Pharrell‘s production. Nelly even addresses the legal trouble he got into last year. While riding through Texas on his tour bus, Nelly’s bus was raided and cops discovered a loaded gun and heroin.
When it came time to address last year’s incident on the track, Nelly rapped, “They tried to jam me up in Texas on some bullshit/ Said I had weed, boy, and a full clip/ No, not me mane, I’m only lifting weight/ I ain’t snitchin’ neither, but I tell ya who’s it ain’t/ From ’99 until now I made legit figures/ If this was ’97, they mighta had a ni**a.”
While his remix of “Feds Watching” won’t be a part of it, Nelly’s new album “M.O.” will be hitting the streets on September 30th. You can expect to hear collaborations with Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, T.I., Future, and country music band Florida Georgia Line.
