After a whirlwind year of accolades playing Oscar Grant in the award winning drama “Fruitvale Station”, Michael B. Jordan switches gears for the upcoming rom-com “That Awkward Moment.”  Jordan plays Mikey, who’s hit a relationship rut after breaking up with his girlfriend, and turns to food as an emotional crutch.  Daniel (Miles Teller) and Jason (Zac Efron), in an effort to cheer up their best bud, enter a “no relationship” pact to stay single and carefree. Of course, their plans go awry when they each meet and fall in love with the girl of their dreams.

Expect to see more of Jordan on the big screen – he’s currently in negotiations to co-star with Chiwetel Ejiofor in the bank heist thriller “Triple Nine” and is rumored to play Johnny Storm in the upcoming “Fantastic Four” reboot.

‘That Awkward Moment” opens in theaters January 31, 2014.
