When actor Paul Walker tragically died in a car accident last month, fans were saddened about the loss and left wondering about the fate of “Fast & Furious 7.” Although it was first thought the movie would be scrapped altogether, Walker’s co-star Vin Diesel announced the film’s release had been pushed back on his Facebook page.

Diesel posted a photo of Paul Walker and himself on Facebook. Under the photo it read:

The last scene we filmed together…

There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come…

Fast and Furious 7 will be released…

April 10th 2015!

P.s. He’d want you to know first…

Obviously, the release of the film has been pushed back a year so the storyline can be edited and fleshed out in the wake of Walker’s untimely death.
