According to The Hollywood Reporter, sketch comedy show “Key & Peele” is being renewed by Comedy Central for a fourth season and the network has ordered almost twice as many episodes as in the past.

Season four will consist of 22 episodes, including two best-of installments. The third season of “Key & Peele” averaged 2 million total viewers a week and ranked first among men in the 18-34 demographic.  Popular sketches like “Obama Loses His Sh*t” and “East/West College Bowl” have made the biracial duo one of the most watched clips on Comedy Central’s Youtube Channel.

In addition to a beefed-up season four, Comedy Central will create and animated spinoff based on their fictitious critics, “Vandaveon & Mike.” The animated entry will feature the characters as middle school hall monitors.

“Key & Peele” stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, both former cast members of “MADtv.” It premiered on Comedy Central in 2011 and can claim President Obama amongst its millions of viewers.
