Whoa! According to TMZ, the NYPD are allegedly looking for producer The-Dream after he allegedly punched, kicked, and strangled his ex-girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time!

However, The Dream insists that the incident never happened.

Law enforcement says the incident took place in April of 2013 at the Plaza Hotel in NYC, which was about three months before Dream’s ex-girlfriend Lydia Nam gave birth to his infant son.

No one knows if Nam sought medical attention for the alleged attack however, she didn’t report the incident to authorities until November of last year.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, that Dream is now wanted for questioning by police in connection with Nam’s allegations which means if they find him … he’ll be taken into custody.

Now, The-Dream insists Nam is lying and sources close to the producer tell TMZ that he thinks she’s a vengeful woman who’s plotting to use this alleged crime as a way to extend her visa in the U.S. because she is from Canada and doesn’t want to go back home.

According to law enforcement sources, Dream was already arrested in connection with a separate domestic violence incident (also involving Nam) last June in Newport Beach, CA however Nam refused to press charges, so the D.A. rejected the case. Oh…so this allegedly wasn’t a one time thing with them then huh?

Nam had no comment.

In other The-DReam news, he also released a video to a new song called, “Black” where he sings “I’m feeling real Black right now” on the hook.
