Martin Luther, “Finally” F/ Questlove [NEW MUSIC]
Former Roots Singer ‘Finally’ Returns With A New Wedding Anthem
Martin Luther McCoy, former singer for Grammy Award-winning band The Roots, has returned from his hiatus with a soul-stirring first single, “Finally,” featuring Quest Love. The native of San Francisco first made headlines with his 2004 hit “Daily Bread” and the genre bending “Soul Assassinator.” Now he is back with a groovy ballad tailor-made for an engagement party or wedding reception with the lyrics, “Finally I’ve found the one, my search is over, now it’s all about us…from this day forward you are second to none.” Fellas, start stretching those knees…
“Before I started working on this single, I had to figure out what I wanted to offer, not only musically, but also spiritually, emotionally and intellectually,” states Martin Luther.
