LeBron’s new nickname might be “Slim Jim” after recent Instagram photos make the rounds. Just weeks after announcing that he is reuniting with his first NBA team, The Cleveland Cavaliers, the Ohio Native has been on a serious diet.
Several sports sites are reporting that James adopted a “carb-free” diet in the off-season which would explain his substantially slimmer physique.
In an earlier Instagram post James joked about the weight loss writing that “Between this diet and @djstephfloss had me like this earlier today…”
LeBron James was listed at 6′ 8″ and 250 lbs during the season and this is what he looked like on July 5th:
