Don’t expect Lil’ Wayne to be “Stuntin’ Like His Daddy” Birdman anytime soon. Weezy is still fuming about his father figure and Cash Money’s reluctance to release his highly anticipated album, Carter V and is willing to duke it out in court. TMZ is reporting Wayne has issued a demand to Birdman in writing: Drop my album or let me bounce from my contract! According to the site, Wayne is convinced his album is ready but Birdman is quite adamant more work is needed to be done behind-the-scenes.

Earlier this month, Wayne dragged Birdman and Cash Money on Twitter to his followers over his frustration about his album’s delayed release which was slated for Dec. 9. Wanye told fans:

I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy. I am a prisoner and so is my creativity Again,I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u.

Speculations grew with fans (and us) if Wayne’s Twitter account was hacked but, the rapper confirmed at VICE’s 20th anniversary party he was behind the rant. Wayne informed the crowd he was in a contentious situation with his mentor and record company but was trying to get out of it.  Things between Wayne and Birdman have reached the point to where the pair aren’t on speaking terms. Insiders report Wayne just has tunnel vision on his album and will mend his friendship with Birdman later on.
