Joey Bada$$ Debuts “Like Me” On “The Tonight Show”
Joey Bada$$ is now less than a week away from the release of his debut album B4.Da.$$, set for release on the day of his 20th birthday. Last night, the Bed Stuy emcee visited The Tonight Night Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and debuted his new album track “Like Me” with backing from house band The Roots, and assistance from singer BJ The Chicago Kid.
Joey’s appearance on the show came just two years after he made his television debut on Jimmy Fallon‘s Late Night Show in 2012. The 19-year old rapper is scheduled to perform a hometown release show on Jan. 19 at the Rough Trade record store in Brooklyn with admittance granted with a purchase of the album. The first 50 customers after the show can attend a free signing session as well.
