Erykah Badu Makes Local News Better Again With Another Appearance

If you’re doing a live news segment at the airport and the wonderful Erykah Badu walks by, you stop her for an interview. Those are rules to live by if you’re a reporter. And that’s precisely what this news correspondent did when he saw Badu styling her way around the Dallas/Fort Worth airport.

When he asked her about the delays at the airport, Badu naturally provided magic. “It’s hard out here for a pimp,” she said. But that wasn’t all. “A lot of schools are closed,” she added. “Everything’s closed. Badu School is open, though.”

And as the shot was being kicked back to the studio, Badu gave us the illest smile.

But this wasn’t the first time Badu’s been involved in an awesome live news shot. Recently, she interrupted an on-camera reporter by trying to kiss him. That silly reporter didn’t let her kiss him, a fact he likely will forever live to regret.
