Maybe an official collab is on the way?
Nearly two years removed from his breakout mixtape Acid Rap, fans are still waiting on new music from Chance The Rapper. Last night, Chance and Alec Baldwin happened to be in the same city for a Young Chicago Authors event and the odd pairing joined forces for a freestyle.
Chance shared the moment with fans on his Instagram account and explained the context. “This is me beatboxing while Alec Baldwin raps, he is for the people,” the young Chicago rapper wrote. “Him, Alfred Woodard and Ali from Tribe came thru the city to help raise money for YCA, the organization that built and developed myself and @Malcolmlondon into the leaders we have become.”
Baldwin himself took to Twitter to commemorate the session.
Chance has kept busy putting on for his city over the last few months, but selfishly we have to ask, when’s the album dropping?!
